What are your thoughts on the recent changes going on in the DeKalb County Schools? Are you concerned about your childs teachers being relocated to another shool?  Are you aware that DeKalb Cty schools have been put on notice (probation) regarding how things are run? Are you aware that special needs services may be being combined instead of each child receiving all the services they need? What are your thoughts?

Please be aware the of the changes being made to what is called "Autism".  This will change how the funding is distributed and if this change goes through, needless to say it will work its way to Down Syndrome.  I will gather more details and update all of you.

Yesterday was the past when we did things the way things used to be done, but now we are the future and our children are the one's who will pave the way for DS in the future. We are their guide and directors of their paths. As the parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings and friends, we are charged with guiding our little angels into the most gifted, opportunistic future possible. So folks, let's give it our 100 percent and more because our loved little angels deserve it all so that they can soar into tomorrow, not just float.
